Advocacy and gain support for the rights of those living with HIV as an integral part of human rights, and combating stigma and discrimination

- Construct the capacity of the NGO members of the Egyptian Network to combat AIDS (ENNA)

A comprehensive view of counseling services and voluntary examination
Voluntary counseling and testing are the main gateways to HIV infection services and to provide care and support for those who live with HIV, and thus benefits those who are positive or negative as a result of their test.
Voluntary counseling and testing represent an approach for individuals to be able to make informed decisions about HIV testing, and this decision should come out of the person himself while ensuring confidentiality and privacy during the examination.
Internationally Voluntary counseling and testing recognized as a gateway to prevention and care as an effective strategy to prevent and care from HIV infection and provide the necessary care. Researches have provided strong evidence that voluntary and testing as an effective strategy and economical in changing behavior.
Voluntary counseling and testing consist of pre-test, testing, post-testing, continuing following up, and provide support to hesitate persons. Voluntary counseling and testing service are provided by trained counselors to equip visitors with a better understanding of the virus testing experience and its options and to provide them with the necessary and appropriate support.
